Joining the business in 2006 Meryl plays an integral part in our business, liaising with customers daily to help the company’s smooth operation. Meryl loves the weekend.

Emma joined the team back in 2019 and soon had the nickname ‘Queen of seed’ You can find Emma sifting through piles of seed on an almost daily basis, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Leighton Waters

Leighton is the team’s newest member, only joining us in 2021. His role is varied across the business going from looking after staff to picking seeds and everything in between.

Grower
Darren is the longest-serving staff member, having started here 32 years ago. From seeding to sending the plants out, Darren is central in every aspect of the journey. What Darren doesn’t know about plants and the industry isn’t worth knowing.
Jono Firth
Systems Engineer
Jono is the brains behind the operation; without his knowledge and skill, Fountain Plants Ltd wouldn’t have become one of the largest brassica growers in the country. Jono creates and builds the software and hardware we use every day, from the watering gantries to the weather station.

Despatch Manager
Chris is the last piece in the Fountain Plants Ltd jigsaw puzzle; the process wouldn’t be complete without him. Chris liaises with customers and manages plant collections to their timescale requirements.
Everyone at Fountain Plants Ltd. plays an integral part in raising our customers’ plants. From the office staff that take orders and deal with the seed to the nursery staff who nurture these tiny seedlings, which provide the UK with annual vegetables.
